Intraoral Scanners

Intraoral scanners are handheld devices that your oral surgeon uses to take a digital impression of the teeth. The scanner projects a light onto the area being scanned and the images are captured by imaging sensors. The images are then processed by scanning software that produces a 3D surface model. In less than a minute, a digital impression of one dental arch can be completed.
