Dental Implant Surgery

At the consultation, your surgeon will create a custom treatment plan using detailed 3D images and walk you through each step. We will also discuss your anesthesia options and help you choose the right type of anesthesia or sedation for your procedure.

On the day of your surgical procedure, we will administer the anesthesia. Once it has taken effect, your oral surgeon will make an incision in the gum tissue and insert the dental implant post. Sutures are placed as needed and we may attach a temporary crown to the implant to wear during the healing period. The implant will fuse with the jaw bone over the next few months and once it has fully healed, your restorative dentist will attach your final crown.
